Webb Pierce

In chapter two of Chronicles, Bob Dylan mentions playing at the National Guard Armory in Minnesota and then proceeds to mention a slew of popular artists that he’s seen perform there. One name he mentions is Webb Pierce, a country singer from the 1950s. Upon reading Pierce’s name I was immediately reminded of the one and only song I know by him, “I Don’t Care.” It’s a great song, so I thought I’d share.
